Dark White’s Final Live Event at RCA, Merci et Adieu

Bangkok (Thailand) – June 22, 2017 (travelindex.com) – Dark White, the duo DJs and event organizer specialized in DISCO, HOUSE, BOOGIE, EDITS & RARE GROOVES with a mission to bring good music to both local and international audience in Thailand, has announced “Merci et Adieu” (Thank you and farewell), one final event to honor the closing of Bangkok’s most renowned music venue, LIVE RCA. The event is set to take place on Friday June 30, 2017, at LIVE RCA, Royal City Avenue Rama 9. Tickets are available at the door for THB 250.

“Merci et Adieu” will be curating a line-up of Bangkok’s local talent playing across the spectrum of Funk, Soul, R&B, Disco and House music; including Dark White, Jam on Toast, Tek Harrington, Koish, Ekception and Peking Opera on the last operating night of the Bangkok clubbing institution, LIVE RCA.

The venue rose to acclaim in the city with its multi-room layout and high quality sound and lighting. Aside from the Dark White events, LIVE RCA has played host to a selection of House, Techno, Trap, Trance, Disco and live acts over the span of its operation including Sven Vath, Vini Vici, Crystal Castles, Loudpvck, Bondax, FKJ and many more.

Live RCA’s strategic decision to cease their operations is in line with their direction to progress from weekly events to larger scale on a monthly basis. It is committed to becoming the leading promoter of events and concerts in Thailand under the newly launched name Live Bangkok – Events Group. The team behind LIVE

RCA is has also been responsible for the growth of various less mainstream music, and overall music industry in Thailand since its organization of Edition Bangkok 2009 headlining Tiesto, Ferry Corsten and Markus Schulz, Mystic Valley Festival 2017, and can still confirm international artists including FKJ, Claptone, Lucy Rose and Tokimonsta.

Walt Mattsson and Rory Roketto are among the rising talent to-be-watched both in terms of artist management and own performance. They have been responsible for the visits of such international artists as FKJ, POMO, CHEROKEE, DARIUS and many others. The duo under the alias Dark White has been involved in large scale festivals in Thailand and the region including Mystic Valley Festival, Kolour In The Park, It’s The Ship and Shipsomnia, introducing alternative cross-genre music to create unforgettable experience for music enthusiasts.
